    Great Red Wine

    Tried the 2024 Reserve Shiraz at Saltire and it’s a standout. Big, bold flavours of blackberry and plum with just the right hit of spice and oak. Smooth, rich, and finishes beautifully — one of those wines you keep thinking about after the glass is empty.

    I look forward to buying this wine again!

    Excellent Value Red Wine

    I recently tried the 2024 Reserve Shiraz at Saltire Estate, and honestly, it blew me away. From the very first sip, it felt like a wine that had been crafted with real care and patience.

    The colour is striking with this beautiful dark red edge that immediately makes you want to dive in. The nose was just as inviting, with loads of dark berries and a touch of spice that reminded me of black pepper and a bit of oak smoke.

    On the palate, it’s bold but so smooth. What I loved most was the structure — the tannins are firm but not overpowering, and it finishes long and satisfying, making you want another glass straight away!

    It’s definitely a wine that feels special, the kind you’d happily open for a celebration, but also one I’d just as easily enjoy slowly over dinner. If you’re into Shiraz with both power and finesse, this one is worth every sip.
